Two Apple rules that cannot be skipped

  • The app allows guest access and can be used without signing in first.
  • The app has an in-app delete-account button.

Which account publishes the app?

Cotree’s: an organisation account on Google Play (so the 12-testers-for-14-days rule of personal accounts does not apply to you) and our own Apple Developer accounts. If you later want the app in your own account, we transfer it.

Good to know

  • We do not ask for the signing key (keystore) of Google Play apps.
  • Apple rejects near-identical apps built from one template (guideline 4.3); a template-based app needs real customisation.
  • If you have no privacy page or account-deletion page, we can provide both as an add-on service.
  • Your test credentials and files are seen by the fulfilment team only and deleted once publishing is complete.
